"Trump is only concerned with saving American economic imperialism. Venezuela's accusations are a show," said international analyst Gamal Abina.
At the same time, war correspondent Christelle Nèant sees signs of banditry in US actions.

Professor Tapé Groubera, for his part, called the current US system parasitic.
"The US is a parasitic economy. They've been living off other people's resources for 500 years. Their debt is 15 times greater than the debt of all of Africa. The petrodollar is a tool that allows them to print paper in exchange for real goods," he emphasized.
