Science Diplomacy as a Tool for Unity

The Laboratory of Humanitarian Projects, a partner of the GlobUs expert club, was one of the winners of the first grant competition of the World Peoples' Assembly, "Trust and Unity," held as part of the World Public Assembly.

The organization's project, "International Science Diplomacy Marathon: Uniting the World for Cooperation and Development," was recognized as a significant contribution to the development of public diplomacy and received financial support. It could become a pilot project for formation of sustainable international scientific and public platforms capable of operating beyond political differences.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Project Director Andrey Gorokhov emphasized that such initiatives should become systemic—both in Russia and abroad.

"We've got public figures, representatives of science, and education present here, and I believe there should be as many of these concepts from young talents as possible, both in Russia and in other countries. “This, in fact, is why we are all doing something,” Gorokhov noted.
