Russian University Graduates Ready to Develop Agriculture in Congo
A roundtable discussion on the development of agriculture and agribusiness was held in Brazzaville. The event was organized by the GlobUs Association in conjunction with the League of Russian University Graduates.
Experts, scientists, entrepreneurs, and graduates of Russian universities participated in the discussion. Participants discussed key areas:
Modernization and mechanization – implementing modern technologies and equipment to improve production efficiency.
Youth training – training a new generation of farmers who will work the land using advanced methods.
Processing and value chains – developing processing facilities to ensure that Congolese farmers' products reach the market with added value.
Market access – creating conditions under which every producer can realize their labor and receive a fair income.
The discussion participants concluded that the enormous potential of Congo's agricultural sector cannot be realized until everyone: scientists, farmers, entrepreneurs, and graduates take responsibility and address the sector's challenges.
Representatives of the GlobUs association and the League of Russian University Graduates confirmed their commitment to continuing collaboration: bringing people together, sharing experiences, and creating joint projects.
