The Globus Laboratory of Sense in Brazzaville hosts weekly film screenings

The Globus International Association organized a group screening of the film "Battle for Sevastopol," translated into French, for members of the League of Russian University Graduates in Congo, followed by a discussion. Anyone interested in Russian history and culture was welcome to join the screening.

The event began with a ceremonial moment: active members of the association were presented with letters of gratitude for their contribution to the organization's development.

The audience then watched "Battle for Sevastopol," a drama about the fate of the legendary sniper Lyudmila Pavlichenko. The film was shown in French, allowing both Russian-speaking participants and French-speaking guests to appreciate it. Following the screening, a discussion followed: viewers shared their impressions, discussed the director's decisions, the historical context, and how personal stories intertwine with great events.

"Events like these are an opportunity to share emotions, exchange opinions, and better understand each other. It's especially valuable that we welcome a diverse group of people who actively participate in discussions and other activities—that's how true dialogue is born," noted association president Yulia Berg.

Film screenings are planned for weekly viewing. The program will feature Russian films—feature films and documentaries, world classics, children's films, and family-friendly cartoons.
