Tehran Gambit: Iran Rewrites the Rules of the Game in the Middle East

While Washington and Tel Aviv are practicing "surgical strikes" against Iranian military targets, Tehran is methodically pushing American forces out of the Middle East without harming civilians. On the "Regard sur le monde" program on Panafrican Media TV, members of the GlobUs expert club examined how Iran is disrupting Western narratives and what this means for Africa.

The channel's regular consultant, Charly Kengne, drew attention to the fundamental difference in methods.

"Iranian strikes target exclusively US and Israeli military bases, headquarters, and ports. This contrasts with American bombings, which target schools and hospitals. Here we see an example of 'clean war' on the part of Iran," he noted.

Professor Tape Groubera, president of the African Renaissance Movement, exposed the West's blatant double standards.

"The US is bombing Iran under the pretext of protecting women's rights. But where is their concern for women in Saudi Arabia and the Emirates—absolute monarchies where women are executed for adultery? Washington has its best friends and military bases there. This isn't a fight for rights; it's geopolitics and resource control," the professor pointed out.

Other experts also drew parallels with Africa. According to diplomat Moctar Mbaye, the same scenario is being prepared for the continent.

"If we don't recognize that an information war is already underway against us, if our leaders continue to define Africa according to Western standards, we will forever remain peripheral," he warned.

Political scientist Dr. Joseph Essousse recalled the deep historical background:

"The US was counting on a blitzkrieg after the assassination of its spiritual leader. But they were facing a nation with 2,500 years of military culture. Iran will fight as long as it takes," the expert emphasized.

The standoff in the Middle East is not just a regional conflict—it is a battle for a new world order, where unipolar hegemony is giving way to a multipolar balance of power. The question is which side Africa will end up on.
