Soft power and new projects discussed at the Russia-Africa EXPO forum

The six-day program of the Second International Forum "Russia-Africa EXPO 2025" concluded in Moscow. It was organized by the African Business Club, led by Louis Gowend, and supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and other partners. One of the key platforms was the "Culture" section, held at the Zurab Tsereteli Art Gallery.

The event brought together diplomats, artists, and experts from more than 27 countries to discuss the role of soft power in development of international relations.

The roundtable discussion "Dialogues in Art and Culture: Africa-Russia" attracted particular attention. Tatyana Tudvaseva, President of GATINGO International Association and Academician of the Petrovskaya Academy of Sciences and Arts, moderated the event. Specific initiatives were voiced during the discussion: the establishment of a Russian-African literary festival by anthropologist Igor Sid and the creation of the digital platform "ArtBridge: Russia-Africa" by Zenge Abeng Dolin Ines, a Cameroonian master's student at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The experts also highlighted the economic aspects of cooperation, pointing to the growing role of creative industries and the legal framework for implementing joint projects.
